The challenge

What slows medical & lab supplies down.

01Lots and expiry dates

Consumables have a limited shelf life. Short-dated stock must be seen early and moved first.

02Product identifiers

Items carry codes such as UDI data. Staff need them on the product record and on the paperwork.

03Sterile and controlled stock

Sterile goods and temperature-sensitive items live in separate areas and must not be mixed in the records.

04Tenders and framework prices

Institutional customers buy on agreed prices and call off over time. Applying the right price every time takes care.

01

Lot and expiry stock

Receive by lot with an expiry date, and see what is short-dated before it becomes waste.

  • Lot number and expiry on receipts
  • Stock lookup by lot
  • Oldest expiry picked first

  • Documents per product
  • Pack sizes as variants

How it runs

One flow, start to finish.

  1. 01Win or renew

A tender or framework agreement is recorded with its agreed prices.

  2. 02Buy and receive

Stock is ordered from manufacturers and received by lot with an expiry date.

  3. 03Call-off order

A customer order reserves stock and applies the agreed price.

  4. 04Pick and deliver

The warehouse picks oldest expiry first and the delivery records the lots sent.

  5. 05Invoice and follow up

The invoice is issued and the lot record links the delivery back to the supplier receipt.

FAQ

Medical & lab supplies, answered.

Can we track lots and expiry dates?

Yes. Stock is held by lot with an expiry date, so short-dated items are visible and can be sold first.

Can we store UDI or other identifiers?

Yes. Product records can carry the identifier fields you define, so they are visible to sales and the warehouse.

Can we separate sterile and other stock?

Yes. Warehouses can be organised into locations, so each storage area is recorded separately.

Can we hold agreed prices for institutional customers?

Yes. Customer-specific prices and contracts can be recorded, and quotes and orders pick them up.
